Nellis is a secure base and requires a current driver's license, vehicle registration, and proof of insurance to access the base. Nellis AFB is not only the home of the United States Air Force Air Demonstration Squadron - the Thunderbirds - but also the Air Warfare Center, USAF Weapons School and Red Flag.
