In addition to using Netscape to surf the web, you can also use Netscape to send and receive e-mail. OUNetID and Password Account Administration Your OUNetID, commonly referred to as a 4+4, and password are the keys which allow you to access the University-wide technology services such as computer labs, e-mail, web pages and dial-up modem services. What's my OUNetID (4+4)? Your OUNetID is the first four letters of your last name plus the last four digits of your OU ID number. If your last name consists of less than four letters, simply use your last name and the last four digits of your OU ID. Example: A student named Ima B Sooner with an OU ID of 123-45-6789 would have an OUNetID of : soon6789 What's my password Default password and how to change your password Students can manage their own password changes Distance Learning, 24 hours a day, seven days a week at http://account.ou.edu. The OUNet Account Management System allows students to quickly and easily access information of importance to them. Using your OU ID number, your OUNetID and your personal password, you can look at class schedule information, grades, financial aid information, and even get unofficial copies of your transcript.
