Master of Arts with a Major in Economics

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The Master of Arts with a major in Economics provides special emphasis on managerial and applied economics in both private and public business.

The current Occupational Outlook Handbook states that employment of economists is expected to grow faster than the average for all occupations through the year 2000.

The University of Oklahoma Advanced Programs course in economics offers options for training in global economics, as well as in the economics of the United States. You will be trained in economic analysis and problem solving. In addition, you will learn the management and organizational skills necessary to make an impact in your field.
